LouAnn Conner, Founder and CEO
Ms. Conner founded SagaciousThink in 2008 and has extensive experience in operations, transition management, and startups. She has worked in variety of verticals including telecommunications, IT, federal government contracting, aerospace and defense, and clean technology.
She saw companies lacking operations expertise and either did not need a full time employee or wanted a fresh perspective. She created SagaciousThink with the goal of adding value to companies by embedding sound, sustainable practices into their organizations.
Ms. Conner holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in International Business from Johns Hopkins University - Carey School of Business. Additionally, she has a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, a Master's Certification in Business Process Engineering, and is also Six Sigma and Lean trained.
She serves as Secretary of the Executive Council on the Dean's Advisory Board at Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business and the Executive Committee for the Alumni Council of The Johns Hopkins University. She also established the Bay Area Chapter for Carey Alumni.
Ms. Conner is passionate about helping startups and mentors clean technology companies at the Clean Tech Open (CTO), and advises women-led startups for Astia (a non-profit focused on giving women lead companies more opportunities) as well as some of her business students.
She is a published author and an invited speaker. She is an adjuncy instructor at UC Berkeley Extension teaching Action Planning and Mangement for a New Business Venture. She also teaches Entrepreneurship, International Business & Strategy and Managerial Analysis and Team Dynamics at Golden Gate University's Ageno School of Business.

James Corr has over 30 years experience in the public and private sectors as a policy advisor and manager. He brings a unique global and economic perspective to his work, including significant experience in international finance, business continuity and security, as well as in clean technologies, specifically solar energy. A particular strength is effective communication of ideas and positions in language that is relevant to the intended audience.
Mr. Corr started his career at The World Bank in Washington, DC before acting as a Special Policy Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office, London. He went on to corporate planning at British Shipbuilders, Ltd., and management consulting with DHR, Inc, where his projects included policy support to the US Department of Energy on Solar and Conservation Technology, market analysis in Saudi Arabia, and testimony before the US House of Representatives on international funding of solar and conservation technologies.
He then embarked on a successful career at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC where he held such roles as Chief - Financial Planning and Operations, Chief - Special Operations, Advisor – Finance Department, and Advisor – Technology and General Services Department. Over the years, his work involved economic and financial analysis, operations management, security and continuity issues, and communications. Since moving to the Bay Area, he has worked as a consultant to a diverse range of clients from major corporations to start-ups, including several projects for his former employer, the IMF.
Mr. Corr’s education includes course work in economics at the University of Glasgow, a Masters of Arts from Peterhouse College, University of Cambridge, and a Masters in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
Additionally, he has been a visiting scholar at the University of Berkeley, Department of Economics.
In his spare time, Mr. Corr enjoys lawn bowling, soccer, international affairs, and photography.
Katherine Paska has over ten years of experience in marketing and engineering. Ms. Paska received two undergraduate engineering degrees from the University of Minnesota and a MBA from University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Her marketing and engineering work spans the Telecommunication, Construction, Education, and the Energy industries, and includes a focus in both B2B and B2C.
Her specialties include: strategy, pricing, product development and management, e-business, merchandising, and cross functional team leadership.
